I love the 47″ LCD TV, but the sound quality doesn’t seem to match the picture. I realize it’s hard to get the fidelity of some speakers, but having a surround sound system is all you need or want, and you don’t need to run cables all over the TV. I’ve been looking for a soundbar for a while and I’ve chosen the LG 300W soundbar system, and I’m hoping this solves the problem.
I’m not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, so a device that’s easier to install and set up, while still producing clearer sound, is nice. The configuration and features of the LG soundbar seem to meet my needs.
That’s what you get in this package. It even comes with a remote control battery and optical cable.
Setup was a breeze. I put the bar in front of the TV, plugged it in and the subwoofer. The package includes wall mounting brackets and a template for wall mounting the speaker if desired. The wireless connection between the stick and the subframe is automatic. The subwoofer has no controls and can be placed anywhere in the room as long as it is within range of the soundbar’s signal. The length of the sound line is adjusted for a 42″ flat screen, so it may seem short at 47 inches, but we think it looks good and fits the TV.
