Then while browsing Amazon, I saw the Monster Rocking’ Roller 270 (Monster in the Future) and by looking at the specifications and specs, I saw that in theory it should be better than the ION:

After comparing them side-by-side, I was surprised that the ION actually sounded much louder than the Monster. And that’s it for music signals and microphones. What is impressive is that ION is actually smaller and lighter than Monster.
So I like all the extra features of the Monster but after all it’s the speakers and the volume and quality trumps all the extras for me. So I went to Monster and bought another ION.
Also, I like ION’s style more than Monster’s solid look.
I hope this comparison helps someone decide between these two speakers. Actually, I was looking for such a comparison, but I didn’t find it.
