The speaker is already a bargain at $29.99, as Amazon sells it for as little as $37 (depending on color – some parts are as high as $49).
Here you don’t have the same color choice, but you have to choose between pink, purple and blue.
It’s hard to get a sense of the size from the photo, but the Jam Plus style can be quite a compact speaker – making it ideal for travel. It measures just 3 x 3 x 3 inches and can run for four hours on its rechargeable battery.

Because it’s Bluetooth enabled, you can pair it with your cell phone or tablet for wireless Pandora, playlists, game/movie audio, and more. But there’s also a line jack if you need to connect a non-Bluetooth source.
Even better, you can pair the Jam Plus for true stereo sound, a feature quite rare among Bluetooth speakers (especially the cheap ones). However, there is no microphone, and therefore no speakerphone option.
I’ll be honest: I didn’t expect to see such positive reviews for such a small speaker, but on Amazon it currently draws a 4.3-star average from over 600 buyers. For me that says a lot. (Also has good things to say about Jam Plus.) Don’t expect miracles, but do expect something surprisingly good on the go – especially if you’re stuck.
