Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker Watts

The Bose Soundlink Revolve+ II is our favorite Bluetooth speaker. It delivers the best sound quality of any model we tested, even at high volumes where the competition starts to fall apart and sound muddy, and our tests show that its impressive battery life can keep the party going for 34 hours in our tests. While its IP55 water resistance doesn’t protect it from full submersion, it can handle poolside splashes and spilled drinks, along with any dirt, dust or sand it might encounter. There are cheaper and more portable options on the market, but none deliver the powerful, clean sounds we enjoy from the Soundlink Revolve+ II.

Bose Soundlink Revolve (series Ii), Portable Bluetooth Speaker With 360° Wireless Surround Sound,13 Hours Of Battery Life, water & Dust Resistant

A reasonable balance for those who want good sound quality and portability, but don’t want to pay a high price for the best

This speaker delivers rich sound in a compact size, is extremely portable, charges with a wireless pad and integrates seamlessly with other Sonos speakers

This mega-portable, waterproof and durable speaker is perfect at home on hikes, bike rides, out at the lake or in the shower

The Bose Soudlink Revolve+ II is a high-end portable speaker in almost every way. While it’s not the lightest or most durable, it makes up for it in sound quality and a host of useful features. You can control your digital assistant directly from the speaker with the intuitive multi-function button and pair it with other Bose Soundlink speakers with the aptly named ‘party mode’. This speaker charges via micro-USB and can be continuously charged at home while in its dedicated charging station (not included). Faulty Bose Soundlink Revolve + (bluetooth Speaker)

The cylindrical shape of this speaker emits high-quality sound in all directions and is powerful enough to be heard clearly from both sides of the pool.

These speakers have the best sound quality of all the Bluetooth speakers we tested. This is not surprising since Bose has been creating premium sound quality in smaller speakers for decades. Soundlink Revolve+ II is packed with Bose technology, including an omnidirectional acoustic deflector for even 360° sound and dual passive radiators to convert vibrations into acoustic output.

The resulting sounds will bring a smile to the face of even the most discerning audiophile, especially when considering the speaker’s portable size. This speaker, like other Bose models, produces powerful bass sounds without losing clarity in the highs or mids, even at higher volumes. Many small portable speakers produce soft, booming bass that excels at other frequencies, while the Soundlink Revolve+ II sounds crystal clear, even when you press down on the speaker. This speaker sounds great playing medium-heavy acoustic music, but can still handle repetitive rhythms and pounding bass with ease for the impromptu dance party. It outperformed many larger soundbars and raised our expectations of how good a portable speaker can sound.

In addition to sounding amazing, this speaker allows you to access your digital assistant directly from the speaker to send text messages or look up recipes. It also has a pairing feature so you can sync it with other Bose Soundlink models.

The Full Comparison: Bose Soundlink Revolve Vs. Revolve Plus

Sense, and the more portable competition doesn’t come close to the sound quality of the Soundlink Revolve+ II. This speaker weighs 32 grams, with a cylindrical shape, measuring 4.13″ x 4.13″ x 7.25″. It won’t exactly disappear into a backpack, but you can still take it almost anywhere.

Revolve+ II is IP55 rated for dust and water resistance. Several models we tested have higher ratings and can even survive a brief submersion. This expensive speaker will probably get baked if dropped in water, but it can withstand splashes or short showers. This isn’t the speaker you want to strap to your paddleboard and float down the river, but it’s rugged enough to handle beach picnics and pool parties with ease. We gave it an extra point for its handy handle, which lets you carry or hang the speaker and folds away invisibly.

While not the smallest model we tested, it’s still impressively portable and sounds much better than its more compact competitors.

This puppy is delightfully loud, one of the loudest portable speakers we’ve tested, and as mentioned, we’re particularly impressed with how it maintains a balanced sound at higher volumes. We measured a maximum volume of 88 decibels from a distance of one metre. It’s loud enough to get 30 of your friends moving and moving, and the entire campsite will be able to hear the detailed, lush sounds coming from your campsite (whether they want to or not). Our distance test showed a loss of just one decibel over 30 feet, confirming that this speaker can powerfully project sound in any direction.

You can scare (or just entertain) your opponents with this powerful speaker. Our testing recorded a loss of just one decibel over 30 feet, so it’s capable of projecting sound over an impressive distance.

Soundlink Revolve+ II has an impressive 17 hours of continuous battery life. More impressively, we were able to milk a full 34 hours of continuous playback at 75% of maximum volume from this speaker during our testing. There is enough power for a weekend trip or a day of boating. When the battery finally runs out, 4 hours connected to power via micro-USB will provide a full charge. A charging stand (sold separately) is also available, giving the speaker a place to sit at home and be ready to fire up the jam at a moment’s notice.

This speaker is fully charged in approx. 4 hours via micro USB and is one of the few models that still has a 3.5mm aux cable connection.

Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker Watts

This high-end speaker comes at a hefty price, but given the technology crammed into this little device, its superb sound quality and marathon battery life, we’re actually surprised it’s not more expensive. People who consider themselves audiophiles have undoubtedly spent more money on audio equipment that does not deliver the sonic satisfaction of this portable speaker.

The carrying handle allows you to safely move the speaker even when your hands are wet and hang it on a fence or tree if used with a carabiner hook.

The Bose Soundlink Revolve+ II takes our top honor, blowing away the competition with its superior sound quality, even at high volumes. There are cheaper, more portable speakers that may be better suited for gear-conscious people, but if you prioritize sound quality and volume above all else, you’ll be very happy with this powerful speaker.

The stylish Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker sounds great for its compact size. Battery life is good at 12 hours, there’s a threaded tripod mount on the bottom of the speaker, and a built-in microphone for speakerphone calls.

Expensive, and the stand that makes charging easier is an optional accessory for $30. The more expensive Revolve Plus sounds even better.

While I’d go for the larger Revolve Plus, Bose’s SoundLink Revolve is still one of the best-sounding Bluetooth speakers for its size.

If you’ve looked at the Bluetooth speaker space, you’re probably aware that such descriptions are nothing new. Ultimate Ears led the 360-degree charge with its Boom, Boom 2 and Megaboom, and JBL’s popular Flip and Charge cylindrical speakers are in their fourth generation. They all promise full-range sound without having to worry about placement.
