The PDWR62BT has been our top recommendation for years and the PDWR69BT is an updated and improved version of the Model 62.

This outdoor Bluetooth speaker system has an active speaker with an internal amplifier that drives the negative and positive sides. There are several variants of the PDWR series of Pyle speakers, but the PDWR69BT is our pick due to its dynamic sound, which uses 6.5” drivers.

The Pyle PDWR69BT features an impressive 6.5″ driver with an output power of up to 800W, making it one of the largest and loudest Bluetooth speakers out there. The Best Multi Room Wireless Speakers

The Pohopa EF-B260 is a built-in external Bluetooth speaker solution that differs slightly from the Herdio and Pyle speakers on our list. Unlike these speakers, the Pohopa EF-B260 does not have a built-in Bluetooth receiver. Instead, the EF-B260 is paired with a standalone Bluetooth receiver to ultimately create the same wireless experience.

We chose the Pohopa over other speakers because of its modern version of Bluetooth, as well as the speaker’s overall performance. While the sound quality doesn’t match what you’d get from something like the Polk Atrium 6 with a Bluetooth receiver, in terms of included products, the Pohopa offers excellent value for under $200.

The Pohopa EF-B260 is a unique offering that does not have built-in Bluetooth, but requires the purchase of an additional receiver or amplifier. Unlike the Pyle, which uses a built-in amplifier with Bluetooth, the Pohopa includes a separate Bluetooth receiver that adds the wireless connectivity you need.

The 5.25″ driver is paired with a 1″ tweeter that delivers incredible sound throughout the entire response range, and the bass is really impressive for the size of the base driver, and while it doesn’t match the larger Pyle PDWR64BT, it doesn’t it does not too far behind.

The Herdio HOS-501W Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker is ideal for under-ear mounting or protection from extremely challenging environmental conditions. Although these speakers are rated as “all weather”, we recommend taking precautions to avoid unnecessary risk of damage.

The Herdio HOS-501W are active external Bluetooth speakers, similar to the Pyle shown above, so you don’t need an additional amplifier to power them. We chose the Herdio HOS-501W as a smaller and cheaper alternative to the Pyle PDWR64BT. The sound quality doesn’t match the Pyle, especially in the low frequency response.

The HOS range of Herdio Bluetooth external speaker systems come in various sizes.
