Slambox Beats Wireless Hi Fi Bt Speaker Indoor/outdoor

No need to show off Beats products, right? Through aggressive marketing and advertising, you’ve probably heard of all the Beats speakers and headphones. Having the new Beats Pill speakers or Beats headphones is more of a fashion statement. Every time you change the channel, stream a video on YouTube, or watch some NBA game, you will see many actors, musicians, players using Beats products. So if all these celebrities are using it, it must be good, right? Well, not enough.

The first Beats pill was very popular, especially among teenagers, but it did not impress audiophiles, audiophiles, and people who really care about sound. So, they discontinued the first generation and created the second generation, Beats Pill 2.0. This new and updated version is the speaker that we will discuss in this article.

The most significant change from the first version is the USB charging port. It’s a nice little feature, but it would be more useful if the battery was more powerful. They keep the good old design (one of the good things about this speaker). The controls are also the same, and the functionality is very satisfying. One thing that really needs improvement is the sound. This unit should sound better than the old version, but don’t get your hopes up. The improvement is almost invisible.

What is best about the Beats Pill 2.0 is the design, the overall build quality, the presence of AUX IN and AUX OUT ports, a USB powerbank port, a satisfactory Bluetooth range, and the ability to pair two Beats Pill 2.0 speakers together. The most glaring shortcoming is the sound quality—this little speaker just isn’t as good as other speakers in its price range. In other words, it is overpriced.

Review: Bose Soundlink Flex Portable Wireless Speaker

The Beats Pill 2.0 looks great and flattering, but don’t let the overall design and build quality fool you. The performance of this speaker does not match the price. Given all the aggressive marketing and pricing, we expect more. Unfortunately, the Beats Pill 2.0 doesn’t do well in terms of sound quality, and there’s a lot to like. Now, we can understand if you really like the design or the portability, but if you don’t get a good discount, you’ll have to buy something else. At this price point, you have a lot of options, and there are plenty of speakers that do better than the Beats Pill 2.0 for less money.

If there’s one thing we really like about the Beats Pill 2.0, it’s the demo. The folks at Beats really pay attention to every detail. They know how to make it look expensive. Out of the box, everything looks very premium. Inside the box you’ll find speakers, a carrying pouch, a USB to micro USB charging cable, a wall adapter, a 3.5mm audio cable, a user manual, and a one-year limited warranty. We have to give Beats credit for the imaginative packaging. Speakers come in soft pouches, and they all come in large pill packs. It’s a fun and creative approach, and we really like it.

The speaker is shaped like a giant pill, which is fun. Every little detail of this speaker looks great. Beats Pill 2.0 is available in 4 colors – black, red, silver and white.

The entire front is covered with a partially transparent aluminum grille. You can see the full four drivers through the grill. There is a 1-inch strip in the middle with the multifunction button “b”, the beats logo, and a built-in microphone. You can use the “b” button to play/pause music, pair/unpair calls, answer/end calls, and play the next (double press) or previous song (triple press).

Sonos Roam Review: The Portable Speaker You’ll Want To Use At Home Too

On the top panel, you’ll see two large volume buttons and an NFC tag for pairing with NFC-enabled Android devices, and also for pairing two Pill 2.0 speakers together.

All inputs are located on the back panel. In the middle, you will see the power button and the LED bluetooth indicator. On the left side, there are two AUX ports – IN and OUT. An AUX IN port is a standard feature on many Bluetooth speakers for connecting non-Bluetooth audio sources to the speaker, but an AUX OUT is not found on many Bluetooth speakers. You can use this port to connect Pil 2.0 with another Pil 2.0 or other Bluetooth or non-Bluetooth speakers with AUX input. On the right is the micro-USB charging port. You can charge the Pill 2.0 via a USB port on your computer, or you can use the wall adapter that comes with the speaker (another great little detail – most portable Bluetooth speakers these days don’t come with a wall adapter).

At the bottom, you will see a rubber cap with the “pill beats” logo. After removing the cover, you will see the USB charging port. You can use this port to charge your phone in an emergency, but it would be more useful if the battery was bigger. We will

We are very pleased with the design and build quality of this unit. It looks and feels rugged, but it’s not shock or water resistant (not IPX certified). You should keep this in mind and consider when deciding whether you should buy this speaker. If you need something you can take to the pool or the beach, the Pill 2.0 is not the best choice. The Pill 2.0 is an outdoor speaker (battery-powered, small and portable), but since it’s not rugged or waterproof, there are very limited situations in which it can be used.

The Best Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2022) For Outdoor Gatherings

The Pill 2.0 features Bluetooth 2.1 and has a range of up to 30 feet (unobstructed). Bluetooth 2.1 is not ideal because you can find Bluetooth 4.2 speakers for less. The speaker is compatible with a wide range of Smartphones (iPhone and Android), tablets and PCs/Laptops. If you want to connect a non-Bluetooth device, you can use the AUX IN port. The speaker also has an AUX OUT port to connect the Pill 2.0 with other speakers with an AUX input. Pill 2.0 supports NFC pairing (for Android devices) and can be wirelessly paired with other Pill 2.0. You can choose between stereo mode and dual audio mode.

No info on supported bluetooth profiles, but it definitely supports A2DP and HFP. AptX is not supported and you will notice some audio lag when watching videos on YouTube.

The Pill 2.0 has a surprisingly good battery life. Play for 7 hours at 50% volume and charge for 3 hours. You can find many cheaper Bluetooth speakers (under $100) that are the same size and have stronger batteries. This is arguably one of the biggest deal breakers (besides sound quality).

As mentioned, the Pill 2.0 has a USB powerbank port which is the biggest difference between the two
