The jubilee product is the Beolit 20 wireless speaker. This is the fourth generation of Bang & Olufsen wireless Bluetooth speakers, about the size of a small pop-up toaster. The Beolit 20 has a smooth surface and, like all Bang & Olufsen products, is made of premium materials that combine durability and beauty.
Beolit 20 is the work of Danish industrial designer Cecilia Manz. It is a beauty with an anodized aluminum grill studded with small holes. There’s a sturdy vegetable-tanned leather strap that forms a sturdy carrying handle so you can carry the speaker around the house or out in the garden. If gray haze isn’t your thing, Bang & Olufsen also offers the Beolit20 in a sleek black anthracite color for those who prefer a slightly more spartan look to their sound.
The back of the Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 has a USB C charging port and a 3.5 mm mini [+] port for connecting analog audio sources.
The top or shelf of the Beolit20 has a minimalist design with a circle of small dots in the middle. This circle marks the area where you can place your smartphone to use the built-in Qi-enabled wireless charging feature. The left side of the shelf is vertically aligned with five circular indentations that indicate the positions of the buttons or switches to operate the Beolit 20. The first button is the Beolit 20 on and off switch. Next is the Bluetooth pairing button and play/pause controls. The last two indentations increase or decrease the volume.

On the back of the Beolit 20, you will find a 3.5 mm stereo input for connecting analog sources and a USB-C port for charging the internal battery of the Beolit 20 with the included 15 V 3 A charger. The built-in battery provides approximately 8 hours of actual playback , which most people hear. According to Bang & Olufsen, the Beolit20 can play for up to 37 hours if you turn the volume down to a background listening level. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
Inside the Beolit20 are two 35W Class D amplifiers and six driver combinations that create a True360 soundscape. The speaker array consists of three 1.5-inch full-range drivers, one 5.5-inch long-throw and full-range woofer, and two 4-inch passive radiators to boost bass levels. Bang & Olufsen engineers have tuned the Beolit20 for optimal sound dispersion in almost any environment with a very impressive frequency range from 37 Hz to 20 kHz. This speaker easily carries the highs and lows of your music with realistic style and deep bass.
The Beolit 20 includes a Qi wireless charging shelf for charging smartphones and true wireless earbuds.
You can also combine a Beolit20 with another Beolit 20 to create a stereo pair. Bang & Olufsen has also added pairing compatibility with the Beolit 17 wireless speaker. With SBC and AAC audio codecs supported, the Beolit20 can stream high-quality music on Android and iOS devices. Pairing with your smartphone is simple and only needs to be done once. Every time you turn on the Beolit20, it automatically connects to your smartphone.

Beolit 20 does more than just looks. Anyone who has ever tried a Bang & Olufsen product knows that the company won’t release it if it doesn’t look and sound perfect. What you get with the Beolit 20 is a wireless speaker that packs a lot of punch, yet plays music with the subtlety of a nightingale when you need it.
The sound of the Beolit 20 is charming and very easy to listen to. The speaker placement is good to hear and has a good sense of rhythm. There’s plenty of bass, too, but it’s never out of control or overblown. I think this is probably one of the best wireless speakers of its kind. Whenever I review speakers in this category, I find them even better than my comparison model, the Dali Katch (another Danish audio brand).
Verdict: The Bang & Olufsen Beolit20 is a triumph of minimalist design and audio engineering. It looks exquisite and looks elegant anywhere in the house. But its appearance overshadows the sheer robustness of the exemplary sound. The Beolit 20 is quite expensive for a wireless speaker of this size, but the quality materials used in its construction make it worth every last penny. you get what you pay for. I prefer one Beolit20 to three cheap wireless speakers that don’t work as well or look ugly. At just 2.7kg, the Beolit20 is also extremely portable, making it easier for seniors who have trouble carrying heavy speakers around the house. When I saw the Beolit20 review sample back at Bang & Olufsen HQ, I was very sad. This is always a great sign of premium audio equipment. I highly recommend it. With a long-lasting battery, integrated smartphone charging and powerful portable sound, the Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 is the fourth generation of a modern classic in wireless speaker design.

Beolit 20 is usually Bang & Olufsen. Elegant look, energetic sound, top price. The addition of Qi wireless charging adds convenience, but the sound quality isn’t the most balanced and falls far short of portable speakers.
The Bang & Olufsen Beolit20 is the latest addition to the Danish brand’s range of portable speakers, replacing the outgoing Beolit17.
It continues the story that B&O has carved into its craft. “Craft” seems like the right word here. A wireless speaker made of premium materials that focuses on high-quality sound.
It’s big and expensive for a portable speaker, but when it comes to something like the Beolit17, B&O could be another winner.
