Stormbox – Suffice it to say, there is no shortage of options when it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers. There are products from different brands and features and price points to suit all retailers.

Tribit, a brand that we have had the opportunity to describe a few times, returns with another word. Although the last time we reviewed one of his products was small, this time it was a large speaker box designed with a barrier and a tail.

The Tribit StormBox Blast, priced at $200, is the kind of speaker you’ll bring to pool parties, beach days, and backyard picnics. Another thing is, it uses evening and night in mind, too, as it displays 32 LED interactive lights.

If there’s one constant among Tribit brands, it’s that the sound is always louder than expected. That’s still the case here as StormBox Blast gets stronger. Really strong. Like, a big shame.

Our first day with this speaker was at the office, listening to playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks. Sometimes we raise our voice to see what it can bring.

We find that we have to wait until after normal business hours or call it in a short burst. It doesn’t matter what kind of music we play, we feel like we’re annoying if we hit 40%.

Take the speaker home, we have it inside and out. We associate it with working in the garden, cleaning the house, or cooking on the grill. It produces a clear, crisp sound that lasts even when you hit it high. It is also comprehensive and widely distributed with equal representation in the low, middle and high end.

Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 Bluetooth Speaker Review: Impressive Sound From A Small Box

You have to reach almost 100% before you have any confusion and even then you won’t notice if you are close.

Speaking of which, the Bluetooth 5.3 connection makes it quick and easy to connect over 150 feet of distance between the speaker and the sound system.

The XBass button provides a great boost to the bass but we didn’t find it necessary to have it most of the time. That said, a small number of people who love their music will choose it.

The Tribit StormBox Blast is IPX7 waterproof which means it won’t come in if your day at the beach includes a heavy downpour. Feel free to set it up by the pool and let the kids play; he didn’t think about water at all.

The battery is tested at 30 hours of repetition; we found this figure to be correct. In the first month with the speaker alone we will charge twice. But if we’re being honest, this month is more busy than usual. We usually don’t have music and sound in a week.

32 clear LED lights aren’t what you want in a speaker, but they’re nice to have. You can change different ways to dance or breathe like a stroke; The color can also change.

We love having lights around the sunset as they add a little fun to the atmosphere. If you’re having a party, or a social gathering, you’ll want to put on a music and light show.

You can learn more about the Tribit StormBox Blast on the manufacturer’s website where it is available for purchase for $200. You can also find it on Amazon where it is also offered for the same price.

Tribit’s StormBox speaker is the latest device released by the company. Packing incredible sound into its compact chassis, Tribit has created a portable speaker that delivers these sonic essentials.

With the Maxsound + and XSound Go Bluetooth speakers already under its belt, I put Tribit’s StormBox on its way to see what it’s capable of. I was not ashamed.

Cheap, Small, And Pretty Great: Our Tribit Stormbox Micro Review

The first thing you’ll notice when removing the StormBox from the packaging is its slim silhouette. It’s a slim little device with just 7.08 x 2.68 x 2.68 inches and its footprint is small wherever you decide to put it.

The body of the speaker covers the familiar black speaker hole, with the Tribit logo on the front, well below the main control button. There are buttons for “volume +” and “volume -“, which are represented by mathematical symbols in white plastic. There is also a lot of work between the two. Each button makes a satisfying click to let you know it’s on.

The multi-function button has many functions depending on the gestures you use. Activation and deactivation are controlled with the push of a button. To jump to the next track double tap, while triple tap will play the previous track.

You can also answer calls using the multifunction button. One click answers and ends the call. Call rejection is just a matter of two clicks. Pressing a button will activate your phone’s voice assistant.

A quick flip on the back of the StormBox and you have the power button, which lights up when the speaker is turned on. Underneath the unit is a four-dot battery symbol, below which sits the Bluetooth connection button. Below that is the XBass button to raise the low end. Finally, there is a plastic-covered rest with an aux jack and a micro-USB port to power the device.

The top and bottom of the speaker is covered with a rubber sheet, which will protect the speaker itself if you drop it, and provides protection for the 45mm bass drivers that sits at each end of the device.

There is also a rubber carrying strap that sticks to the top of the speaker. This is great for carrying the device in your hand, hanging it on a hook, or for quick and easy removal from a backpack. Suffice it to say, the overall appearance of the speaker is the same as portable devices, but that in no way removes the beauty of the StormBox.

As I said, StormBox is easy to carry. Weighing in at just 1.2lb (535 g) is a modest statement considering the volume it can produce. This means that you can print it in a bag (it

Even fits in side pockets if the backpack has them). You can use the carrying strap to attach it to the outside of your bag for sound on the go!

Because it has an IPX7 waterproof rating, taking the StormBox to the beach, park, or near the pool won’t be a problem. The speaker can withstand temporary immersion in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Therefore, you do not need to worry about sudden rain or if the speaker decides to get involved in you. You can also use it in the shower.

Thanks to Bluetooth technology, you are free to move up to 66 ft from the device without breaking the connection between your phone and the speaker. This gives you more freedom to enjoy your music. I recently tested it in an outdoor space and found it to be true.

Tribit indicates that the battery can last for about 20 hours of playback. However, there is a benefit to this. As with all portable Bluetooth speakers, this one depends on playback volume and audio content. So if you play at high volume, at full volume, you won’t get the same battery performance.

I play different DJ mixes, in many genres, from SoundCloud for five hours while I work. At about 60% (still strong), the battery indicator goes down one light, so I’d say the battery lasts 20 hours Tribit says, caveats are considered.

It is also possible to daisy-chain two speakers together from the same phone. This means you can enjoy 360-degree multi-room sound or enhance the sound in one room using two separate speakers. Unfortunately, I can’t test this functionality because I don’t have a second StormBox to connect to.

When I first opened the StormBox and saw its small frame, I didn’t expect the sound to make it
