Full power is no problem for Marshall, and the Kilburn II is easily enough to fill a medium-sized party with sound. This is quite impressive! Thanks to the multidirectional sound, the whole space will be filled evenly.
The sound of the Kilburn II is quite warm and you can call the bass heavy, even if the knob is not too much. Especially in smaller rooms, you may want to turn the knob down and raise the triple instead. The Marshall audio is always full and powerful. If you use the speaker outside, you need to set the bass to at least 7 or 8 for quality sound.
As you probably already know from other Marshall speakers and headphones, the Kilburn II’s sound is not necessarily neutral, so it may not be suitable for all types of music. Classical music is lacking a little clarity. And if you like rock, metal, punk or folk, you will love the sound.
