Iluv Bluetooth Speaker Pairing – Back in January at the annual CES conference in Las Vegas, iLuv introduced its new Bluetooth speaker, the Syren Pro. His focus is on two things; features and of course the sound quality. Both of these will be broken down by you today in our review of the Syren Pro.
The iLuv Syren Pro comes in two colors, black and white, as you can see in the photos later in this post, the iLuv people sent it white. The Syren Pro you see is a high-end speaker. It is slightly taller than most speakers, due to its cone shape. Most of them are plastic so they are very light and easy to carry.

The iLuv Syren Pro is 8.35 in (L) x 11.61 in (H) x 8.35 in (D) in general. It weighs 4.18 pounds because it’s mostly plastic. The overall design of the Syren Pro to me doesn’t look cheap like you’ve seen on some speakers that are plastic. It is very well put together and everything is very easy to access buttons, speaker, sockets and such.

There isn’t much to put into the box, but what else do you need than an AC adapter and the iLuv Syren Pro speaker itself? Of course, an owner’s manual and a warranty card to register your product will be yours.
Now, let’s talk about some of the features a little more in-depth for a minute so you can understand what the iLuv Syren Pro is and what it’s worth.
The first part I want to talk about is the True Wireless Connection offered by the iLuv Syren Pro. What this feature allows, something you don’t see very often in Bluetooth speakers, is the ability to connect two speakers at the same time for an immersive audio experience.
Since the iLuv Syren Pro costs about $150, that means if you drop $300 and have two of them, you can use both at the same time. It sounds like a good idea and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do with the speakers I’ve seen over time and I really like it. Also, not many Bluetooth speakers come with this feature, so it’s a great compliment from iLuv.

I know many of you are wondering how this works and I’ll tell you it’s easy. Someone pulls the two speakers out of the box, making sure they are both unplugged. Behind each device is a small gray rubber cover. When the volcanoes open you will see a switch where you can select left (L), right (R) or Normal.
If you want to make two speakers, then switch one device to switch to L and the other device, switch to R. Once you have turned on both devices, let them sit for a minute. or more automatically. two together wirelessly. One that connects together, then you connect to Bluetooth according to your methods and other speakers on your device. It’s very simple and works well.
Another amazing feature of iLuv Syren Pro is the fact that it is weatherproof and UV resistant. What this means is that you take it to the floor or something similar, and you don’t have to worry about it. The Syren Pro is shatter resistant. So, when you want to get out of the pool you don’t have to worry about your kids throwing balls into the pool, getting wet and breaking. However, don’t go throwing yourself in a bathtub or shower or anything like that because you’ll quickly run out of $150.
The iLuv Syren Pro can be fully charged from a full charge in 4 hours. When fully charged and disconnected from the AC adapter, the Syren Pro will last you 10 – 12 hours. I’ve gotten up to 10 1/2 hours so far the two times I’ve taken it for a small block party with close friends.

Although 10 – 12 hours is not a long time for a Bluetooth speaker to last on a full charge, this is very common these days. Especially with a speaker of this size and quality. One way to think about it is, how often do you sit in a pool for 10 hours or more? So, your iLuv Syren Pro will last you most of the time.
This is the most important part of speaker review that we all know. At the time of this writing, I only have one iLuv Syren Pro speaker. Out of the box, plugged in and ready to go, I pushed play on my iHeart Radio widget on my Moto G screen to listen to my different station.
When the sounds started to play, of course, I had to ask my father to cover his ears for a few minutes, because I wanted to test the quality of the sound that was really strong to stay. home first. Within seconds he could tell she was in for a surprise.
I turned the volume up on the iLuv Syren Pro and 3/4 of the way on my Moto G to see how it would sound. I have to say they are as good, if not better than this. Some lyrics and lyrics of the first song were a little off at that time. But, remember, inside me, as we all know, things are different inside than outside. Especially in a small room.

So the next step is to get the Syren Pro out, and that’s going to be at a small local event near us. When this device came out, I could tell a huge difference in sound quality. It’s not that the speaker is louder or anything, but it’s easier and less cluttered. I think it’s because of the shape of the speaker, and being in a small room with sound waves etc.
I was very impressed with the iLuv Syren Pro at first. But I knew I had to really try it at home not only for two days, but with different types of music.
Supposedly, since the sound is nowhere near filling the house, things are back to where they should be with the Bluetooth speaker. Play alternative, country and some pop music, with minimal distortion and normal volume settings.
After only 4 days with the iLuv Syren Pro, I can say that I am very happy with the speaker. The sound quality is very good. My only complaint is the device turns off or automatically turns off after 30 minutes of no input and has to go into dual mode every time. Now this only takes about 45 seconds, but not as much as many other speakers once you turn it on, it automatically connects and is ready to play. Again, it’s a small thing, but it’s worth mentioning that some people are really annoying.

For around $130 direct from iLuv, the Syren Pro is worth it in my opinion. It is made of plastic, but it is durable and very light. It is therefore portable and easy to set up and use with minimal interaction.
The Syren Pro is something I recommend for your rooms at home or for outdoor use. To take it to the office, this may seem like a lot, although it depends on the size of the office and everything that you can have close to you in the office.
