The Bose S1 Pro system is a portable Bluetooth speaker system. The unique Auto EQ feature lets you move the speaker outdoors, vertically or lean back, and the speaker makes internal adjustments to optimize its performance accordingly. Its crisp, balanced sound profile is well-suited for most music genres, although it lacks some low bass. There are some controls to help you adjust your sound, and there’s even a built-in ToneMatch feature if you want to make your microphones and connected devices more natural, though we He didn’t test for that.

Bose S1 Pro is good enough for music. It has a fairly neutral sound profile that is good for many types of music and can be loud without much compression. While it lacks a bit of low bass, the added burst of high bass may please fans of bass-heavy genres. It also has a sound enhancement feature that helps make the sound more natural from microphones and devices connected to the speaker. Unfortunately, the stereo has to reduce the content to mono, which doesn’t sound very immersive.

Bose S1 Pro is great for videos and movies. It can produce dialogue clearly and accurately, but it lacks a bit of low bass, so you may not feel deep noises and rumblings in crowded scenes. It is loud and has low latency through Android and iOS devices. However, you have to downgrade the stereo content to mono, which doesn’t sound very immersive.

The Bose S1 Pro is great for podcasts. It’s Bluetooth compatible, so you can easily stream podcasts from your phone to the speaker wirelessly and pair with two devices at the same time. Its balanced center can also reproduce sounds clearly and accurately. Also, its portable design is easy to take with you on the go.

Bose S1 Pro

Bose S1 Pro is suitable for outdoor use. More than 10 hours of battery life is good for long days outside and it can be noisy enough to be used in a large, open environment. While this speaker looks sturdy and durable, it is not waterproof. Also, the volume is perceived as a bit narrow, so it doesn’t seem very immersive.

The Bose S1 Pro is a mid-range Bluetooth speaker. It has a neutral, balanced sound profile that is good for most types of music, but lacks some low bass. It comes with inputs for microphones and instruments, and its automatic EQ feature uses built-in sensors to adjust the speaker’s performance based on how it’s positioned.

The JBL PartyBox 310 is a better speaker for music than the Bose S1 Pro System. JBL can reproduce low bass, play stereo content and loud sound. It also has a longer battery life and is rated IPX4 for water resistance, meaning it can withstand small splashes of water. But Bose is more portable.

The Ultimate Ears HYPERBOOM is a better overall speaker than the Bose S1 Pro System. The Ultimate Ears can play stereo content without reducing it to mono, which is more immersive. Its direction is also better, resulting in a wider sound. It also comes with graphic EQ and presets so you can customize your sound to your liking.

Bose S1 Pro System Portable Pa System

The JBL PartyBox 100 is a better speaker than the Bose S1 Pro System. JBL has a more balanced sound profile and better sound performance. It can also be louder than the Bose, although it has some compression artifacts at maximum volume. However, Bose is more portable.

The Apple HomePod is a better speaker than the Bose S1 Pro System for music, video and voice assistant support. Apple has better audio performance and built-in Siri features unlike Bose. However, it can be difficult to find a new position as we have stopped. Bose can be loud and can be used with a battery, so it is portable and better for outdoor use than Apple.

The Bose S1 Pro system is a better speaker than the Google Nest Audio for most uses. It can be loud and has a more balanced default sound profile. It also has a low delay on the Bluetooth connection and is ideal for outdoor use as it can be powered by a battery. However, Google has built-in Google Assistant capabilities, so it is the best choice for voice assistant support.

The Bose S1 Pro is a mid-range speaker with an all-black design. It is made mostly of plastic and has a metal grille on the front to help protect the drivers. You can position this speaker vertically, tilted backwards or horizontally, as the automatic EQ feature uses built-in sensors to provide optimal performance depending on how it is positioned. There is also a 35mm pole on the bottom of the speaker so you can mount it on a speaker stand.

The Bose S1 Pro is an amazing import. It’s long and a little heavy, but it has an upper handle to help you carry it with one hand. Also, this speaker has a battery, so it doesn’t need to be plugged in to work. As a result, it is easy to use outdoors.

Bose S1 Pro has acceptable build quality. It’s mostly plastic and a metal grille that covers the front of the speaker, and these materials feel solid and durable. Unfortunately it is not water, dust or shock resistant, so you should be careful if you plan to use it outdoors or near water. If you’re looking for a speaker with a more waterproof design, try the JBL PartyBox 310, which has an IPX4 rating, although we haven’t tested for that yet.

The Bose S1 Pro controls aren’t powerful. You can’t play/pause music or skip tracks, which is disappointing for some listeners. Instead it has channel 1 and 2 inputs for microphones and instruments. The 3 channel input is designed for Bluetooth connectivity and line level inputs. Each input has a volume knob, an echo knob, and bass and treble knobs. The ToneMatch switch provides a built-in processing feature that can help microphones and guitars sound more natural. There is also a Bluetooth pairing button and a light above the volume buttons to indicate the signal.

The Bose S1 Pro has a fairly good frequency response. The sound profile is fairly neutral, so it’s good for listening to a lot of audio content. It lacks some low bass though, so you may not feel the deep rumblings and thumps in bass-heavy types of music. However, there is some extra bang in the high bass that should please EDM and hip-hop fans. If you have a microphone or built-in speaker, there’s a ToneMatch feature that can help make the sound more natural, although we didn’t test this.

Thanks to the automatic EQ feature, you can place this speaker vertically, backwards or horizontally. Built-in sensors in the speaker detect direction to ensure optimal performance. We tested this speaker in a vertical position, sitting flat on the floor and not leaning back.

This speaker has an impressive sound level. The sound level is perceived as narrow and directional, so it doesn’t always seem like you’re getting what you know from all angles. Also, you have to reduce the stereo content to nothing so that the sound level is not too wide or immersive. For the best speaker, check out the JBL PartyBox 100.

The Bose S1 Pro has incredible performance. It is good for use in parties or large rooms as it is loud. Also, there is not much compression when you play it at maximum volume.

This speaker has good battery life. It lasts over ten hours on a single charge, which is great. The manufacturer claims that it has a quick charging feature that allows you to charge the speaker in just 2.5 hours when the power button is turned to the Quick Charge icon. However, when we tested this feature, the speaker took 4.5 hours to charge. It also goes into standby mode after an hour without playing any audio, which helps preserve battery life. The battery also goes into ‘Sleep Mode’ when you don’t use it for 30 consecutive days and you need to plug the speaker into the AC adapter and turn it on to reactivate it.

Bose Connect app is ok. You can use Party Mode to connect your speaker.
