In the past, the prices of Bluetooth speakers have gradually decreased as the quality of the speakers has improved. However, over the past few years, with supply issues and inflation, we haven’t seen many deals like this on Bluetooth speakers. But while Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale continues (it runs until October 12th), we’ve found some great wireless speakers worth checking out. We will update this list as we find out more.

Marshall Bluetooth Speakers: The Complete Buyer’s Guide
Available in several color options, it has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it can be submerged in water and is dustproof. Battery life is rated up to 5 hours.
Anker’s original Soundcore Motion Boom speaker was released in 2021 and was a great value (it retailed for $88). But the new 2022 Motion Boom Plus has improved significantly, especially in terms of sound quality. This is one of the best new Bluetooth speakers of 2022.
It weighs 5.29 pounds (about a pound more than the Motion Boom), uses Bluetooth 5.3, and has a custom 3.5-inch speaker and two 1-inch tweeters, delivering up to 80 watts of audio output (60W for the speakers and 20W for the tweeters ). Battery life is rated at 20 hours at moderate volume levels. It is also IP67 waterproof and dustproof and floats if you drop it in a lot of water.
I was impressed with the sound quality, which is a good match for some more expensive speakers – and some larger ones. Sound profiles (with EQ settings) can be adjusted and the speaker’s firmware updated in Anker’s Soundcore app for iOS and Android.
Best Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers
In 2020, Tribit released the StormBox Micro, a budget version of Bose’s excellent SoundLink Micro speaker, which delivered surprisingly good sound for its size and modest price. Now we get the StormBox Micro 2, which offers improved sound and battery life, as well as a power-off feature that turns the speaker into a power bank for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. An integrated strap allows you to attach it to your backpack or the handlebars of your bike.
Like the original, it’s an excellent value and easy to recommend if you’re looking for a really compact wireless speaker. It retails for around $60 but now it’s down to $48 for Prime Day.
Although the Anker Soundcore Motion Plus was released in 2019, it remains one of the best sounding speakers under $100. It’s bigger than most small Bluetooth speakers, but it’s still small. It can sound better than most competitors in its price range, with bigger bass, more volume and more clarity. It’s also fully waterproof (IPX7 rated) and has aptX streaming codec support for devices that use it, including Samsung Galaxy phones. This is its lowest price yet (only the black version is on sale).
If you don’t want to spend the extra dough on the newer Soundcore Motion Boom Plus (see above), the original Soundcore Motion Boom remains a good option for less money. It’s a bit lighter than the Motion Boom Plus and the sound isn’t as deep, and the speaker doesn’t play as loud, but for the price, it sounds pretty good, especially compared to more powerful speakers like the JBL Charge 5. It cost more.
Best Bluetooth Speakers 2022: Home & Portable Wireless Speakers
With the arrival of the JBL Boombox 3 ($500), you can now pick up the Boombox 2 at a deep discount. And while the Boombox 3 sounds better, thanks to the new three-driver system (the new speaker sounds clearer and more detailed), the Boombox 2 is still a powerful portable box that can pump out powerful bass and is completely waterproof.
For its first three generations, JBL’s Clip micro Bluetooth speaker had a circular design. But with the fourth-generation Clip 4, JBL went for a more rounded shape, added a smaller speaker, and added USB-C charging. It seems to be more durable, with a carabiner “clip” firmly attached. Also, it sounds better, with more volume, clearer sound and more bass. With an IP67 waterproof rating, it is completely waterproof, and it is also dustproof. This is one of the best wireless speakers for its small speaker size.

The Bose SoundLink Revolve+ II is our pick for the best portable Bluetooth speaker you can buy. It’s easy to use, sounds great, offers 17 hours of battery life, and even has a convenient carrying handle. This price isn’t the best we’ve seen, but it’s still a good deal.
Bose Soundlink II is a waterproof Bluetooth speaker with a built-in microphone and a battery life of up to eight hours. At $79, this is a great price for a speaker; This matches the lowest price from Black Friday 2020.
The Sony SRS-XP700 X-Series speaker delivers surround sound with an LED-lit design. It offers 25 hours of battery life and fast charging time, and even has ports for connecting a microphone for karaoke time. On Prime Day the speaker costs $398, according to the lowest price we’ve seen before.
